From Dough to DoorDash: Transforming the New Rapid Fired Pizza Website

"The old Rapid Fired Pizza website was dated, not particularly exciting, and the user journeys weren’t optimized. Our IT team worked closely with the team at Bodhi and Co. to implement a new website, with new branding, architecture, photography, and user journeys that reflected the brand and where we are going. We wanted a website that heroed our great menu and food choices and made it easy for the customer to get the information they wanted, and quickly. And of course, one that was fully optimized for our customers. We are delighted with the output and looking forward to seeing some great online results."

Mike Kern, CEO & President - Rapid Fired Pizza

The Brief

The Rapid Fired Pizza website was launched in the early 2000s and didn’t offer an optimized user experience or reflect the new brand and menu offer. As a partner who understands the company, the provenance of the food, and the quality of the pizza, they came to Bodhi and Co. to implement a new website. So that’s exactly what we did.

Client Experience

We already had a new brand visual identity, but we needed to go back to basics and think about the customers and the journeys we wanted them to experience. We also needed to ensure the website performed on Mobile, with third-party delivery and location integration.

Solution & Results

The 6-month project included design, new product photography, copy, UX, UI, testing, and rollout. The result is a high-performing and beautiful new website that celebrates all things Rapid Fired Pizza. From their story to the food they serve to the great people that serve it. Making ordering easy, and finding the menu and specific store information easy to find across 25 stores was the goal.

“Bodhi and Co. was responsive and in tune with our needs and goals right off the bat. They immediately felt like team members rather than just another vendor in a distant location. The trust and comfort they fostered during every call and email helped us work together to achieve notable results in record time. Bodhi and Co. provided us with a wide array of services, strategies and solutions, often going above and beyond to deliver value in a space where and when we needed it the most.”

Adam Myrick, Public Information Officer - LCSD

The Brief

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department had over 100 job vacancies and needed a “quick draw” to attract more high-quality candidates. The brief was to take an outdated, unmemorable recruitment website and redesign it while also creating and executing a PPC plan to drive more traffic.

Client Experience

There was no question about it – our client needed a fix for the talent shortage, and they needed it quickly. They didn’t have 6 months to wait for a new website and traditional outdoor advertising just wasn’t delivering ROI. We worked with their internal marketing and recruitment team to finetune and strategize to make sure all parties were happy before pressing go. We also worked with their external recruitment partner to ensure a positive and memorable candidate experience.

Solution & Results

Our team developed a new, modern website in record time. From mobile optimization, to simple navigation, and clear, concise copy we made sure it was an all-around great experience for the user. We also ensured the site truly reflected who they were and what they stood for – a big selling point. To support the site and drive more applications, we started several highly-targeted Google and Youtube ads. We defined target audiences by age and geography and created corresponding copy and content for each bucket. With a set budget, we continue to optimize the ads and make sure they are performing well and providing results. Results in the first 30 days included 20K impressions on their ads, 2K new users on their website and 65 completed applications received, covering all of the open positions.
