Kayla Walker is a senior at Clemson University, majoring in Graphic Communications, where she merges her love for creativity and design. Her dedication to leadership is evident in her role as Homecoming Chair for her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. One of her favorite parts about Clemson is getting to work with ClemsonLIFE, a program for students with intellectual disabilities.
Kayla's professional background includes a sales and marketing internship and an internship focusing on flexographic print research. Her global perspective was broadened during a study abroad experience in Barcelona, where she concentrated on international marketing.

What’s the best concert or live performance you’ve ever been to?
It would have to be a tie between Dead & Company and Mt. Joy. I saw Dead & Co. on their tour last summer. Not only did they sound amazing, but the energy that “deadheads” bring is unbeatable. However, I’ve seen Mt. Joy play live multiple times and somehow each time is better than the last.
Favorite meal?
My favorite meal would have to be the most important meal of the day, breakfast. I love starting my day off with a breakfast burrito. Some of my other favorites include bagels or eggs benedict. The options are endless, but as long as it's paired with a chocolate milk I’ll eat it!
What do you love to do in your spare time?
I love to spend my free time outdoors, particularly at the beach or lake. I grew up going to the beach a lot so being by the water is very calming to me, whether I'm swimming, tanning, paddleboarding, etc. Part of the reason why I chose to go to Clemson was actually because of the lakes around it.
