This site, wearebodhiandco.com (the “Site”), is run by Bodhi and Co., LLC (“Bodhi & Co”, “we”, “us”), a South Carolina limited liability company based in West Greenville, Upstate South Carolina.
These terms (“Terms”) cover your use of the Site, the free AI visibility check, and the “Ask us anything” assistant. By using any of them you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
2. Using the site
You need to be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract to use the free check or the assistant. If you’re using the Site for a business, you’re confirming you’re allowed to act for it.
The Site is for businesses and the people who run them. It isn’t directed to children under 13.
3. Our services and separate agreements
Bodhi & Co provides AI consulting, AI agents and automations, AI search visibility (SEO, AEO and GEO), and social media management (organic and paid) for clients in South Carolina and nationwide.
Paid work is always governed by a separate written agreement or quote between you and Bodhi and Co., LLC — scope, pricing, timeline, ownership of deliverables, all of it. Nothing on the Site is an offer that binds either of us until we’ve both agreed to that document. If a written agreement and these Terms ever disagree, the written agreement wins for that work.
Descriptions of services, pricing and examples on the Site are there to help you understand what we do. They may change without notice.
4. The free AI visibility check
The check has two parts.
The instant check is automated and runs on the Site. It reads the public homepage of the website address you enter, along with its robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt files, and reports twelve pass-or-fail results. It reads one page, not your whole website, and it does not ask any AI service about your business. When it visits a website it identifies itself as BodhiCheck, and it stays out of any website whose robots.txt tells BodhiCheck to stay out.
The full check is run by a person when you ask for it. We look at your public website and ask third-party AI and search services (for example Perplexity, OpenAI and Google) the kinds of questions your customers ask about your business category. We then show you what came back and what we’d do about it.
Please read this bit
The results are point-in-time observations of websites and third-party AI systems that change constantly. The same question asked an hour later can produce a different answer. Passing the instant check does not mean an AI system will recommend you, and failing part of it does not mean one won’t. Both parts of the check are offered free and as-is: we don’t warrant that the results are accurate, complete or repeatable, that any recommendation will produce a particular outcome, or that any AI or search platform will cite, rank or recommend your business. Those platforms are controlled by other companies and we don’t influence them.
By requesting a full check, you confirm that the website you give us is yours or that you have permission to have it checked. We may decline or stop a check at our discretion — for instance if the site isn’t yours, or it isn’t a real business.
What you decide to do with the results is up to you. We’re happy to help, under a separate agreement.
5. The AI assistant
The “Ask us anything” assistant on this Site answers from a fixed fact sheet about Bodhi & Co, using Anthropic’s Claude.
Its answers are AI-generated and may be wrong. It’s a starting point, not a commitment. Anything about pricing, scope or timing is confirmed by a human in writing before it counts.
It isn’t professional advice — not legal, financial, technical or otherwise. Don’t make decisions on it alone.
Humans review leads. If you leave contact details, a person reads them and follows up. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Don’t share sensitive personal information with it — health details, ID or account numbers, or details about other people. It doesn’t need them.
The assistant may be unavailable, rate-limited or switched off at any time.
6. What you give us
When you submit anything through the Site — a website domain, a message, contact details, a question to the assistant — you’re telling us it’s accurate, it’s yours to share, and it doesn’t break any law or anyone’s rights. You give us permission to use it to reply to you, run the check and follow up, as described in our Privacy policy. You keep ownership of it.
You’re welcome to look at, link to and share pages from the Site. Please don’t copy, republish, scrape or reuse our content commercially without asking first.
Client work shown on the Site is shown with the client’s permission. Their names, logos and materials belong to them and appear here only to show what we did together. If you’re a client and would like something taken down or changed, just tell us.
8. A few don’ts
Please don’t:
Ask for a full check on a website you don’t own or have permission to test.
Use the instant check to load, probe or pester someone else’s website, or run it by script or in bulk.
Use the assistant or any form to submit false, misleading, abusive or infringing content, or to try to make the assistant say things it shouldn’t.
Scrape, spider, bulk-download or reverse-engineer the Site or the assistant.
Interfere with the Site, its hosting, or other people’s use of it.
Use the Site to break any law, including privacy, anti-spam and intellectual property law.
If you do, we can limit or block your access without notice.
9. Third-party links and services
The Site links to other websites and relies on third-party services (hosting, Anthropic’s Claude, and the AI and search platforms we query during a full check). We don’t control them, we’re not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and a link isn’t an endorsement. Your use of another site or service is governed by its terms, not ours.
10. No warranty
In plain words: the Site, the free check and the assistant are provided free, as-is and as-available. We work hard to make them good, but we can’t promise they’ll be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or right for your situation.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BODHI AND CO., LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY, WITH RESPECT TO THE SITE, THE FREE AI VISIBILITY CHECK AND THE AI ASSISTANT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY AI OR SEARCH PLATFORM WILL CITE, RANK, RECOMMEND OR INCLUDE YOUR BUSINESS AS A RESULT OF ANYTHING ON THE SITE.
Paid client work carries whatever warranties are in its written agreement, and nothing here changes those.
11. Limitation of liability
Because the Site, the check and the assistant are free, our responsibility for them has to be limited.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BODHI AND CO., LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SITE, THE FREE AI VISIBILITY CHECK, THE AI ASSISTANT, OR ANY THIRD-PARTY CONTENT OR SERVICE, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE, THE CHECK OR THE ASSISTANT WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
Some states don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you. Liability for paid work is set out in its written agreement.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about the Site or these Terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Greenville County, South Carolina, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Before anyone files anything, we’d ask you to email us first — most things are solvable with a conversation.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version here with a new “Last updated” date. Using the Site after that means you accept the new version. If a change is significant, we’ll make it obvious on the Site.
If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce something right away, we haven’t given it up.
